ensure that health care needs of all Tribal Governments are met with broad-based
advocacy, cutting edge research, policy analysis, training and technical
assistance.
National Indian Women’s Health Resource
Center -- A national non-profit organization “to assist American Indian and
Alaska Native women achieve optimal health and well being throughout their
lifetime.” Initially organized as a steering committee for the IHS, its members
include health providers, health planners, health administrators, and elected
tribal leaders that exhibit a common concern for Indigenous women’s health.
Native American Cancer Research -- A
community based, American Indian, non-profit resource. We seek to help reduce
cancer incidence and mortality in Native Americans.
